Alright it has been awhile since I have started up my blog.. .and I have been chatting with and asking if I should start one up again and share what its on my heart and has been going on in my life since working at Hope Mission. The conclusion I have come to is "yes" I should start one up again.. so Here is it friends and family I have now started up Coffee Time with Fey! (Or tea time with fey, or whatever beverage you drink while reading this)
So I guess I should fill you guys in on what has been happening in my life since I have been slacking lately. If you most of you remember I did have a blog called "What God has been doing in the big city" Which was when I was in Toronto, But now Iam back in Alberta living life up in Edmonton and doing another internship with inner city youth but with a ministry called "Hope Mission" I never really thought I would really see my self working again in inner city work and doing the street out reach like Iam doing right now.
As of August 18th I moved back to Alberta started working at Hope Mission September 5th in the youth shelter with ages 18-24 youth who have been at risk with the life the style they are living or with the group of people they are living with or around. My heart and passion are for sure inner city street out reach! it has now been over 2 months since I've been here and I love the fact that I can now walk downtown Edmonton and see a ton of youth that I know who will come and give me hugs on the streets or just come and catch up with me and ask how life is going.
Yes for sure there has been my up's and down's since working at hope mission and investing in these youth but I have been blessed with my friends that I have who are living in Edmonton, who have opened their homes up to me whenever I need to get away or just have some breathing time to get away from work.
Well Folks Im not sure what else to catch up on right now, this is pretty much my life right now and for sure there will be more to come now I have started up this blog! super excited to share the stories that I have come across and share what is on my heart while doing this ministry!.
